Starbucks workers at a location in Bountiful have announced their intention to form a union, becoming the third store in the state to do so. According to a press release, a majority of workers at the store, located at 422 West 500 South, have signed union authorization cards in support of the effort. Workers claimed they plan to file a a formal petition for a union election with the National Labor Relations Board on Monday. They would be joining the Starbucks Workers United movement, which already includes approximately 8,000 workers at 300 locations across the country.
